Frequently Asked Questions
What you need to know for your Pedal Pushers Group Cycle
The Pedal Pushers Group Cycle is a 15 man bike with 1 driver totaling 16 persons. The group cycle offers tours of downtown Carson City at scheduled times and stops. There are 10 pedal seats and 5 non-pedal seats.
Happy Launch Day!
The group contact for the reservation will receive an automated email message from Pedal Pushers the day before their ride with specific instructions in regards to meeting time/location and Liability Waiver Forms. It’s up to the group contact person to relay all appropriate information to the rest of their party.
Peeps are encouraged to arrive 20 minutes early, prior to their launching time, to ensure enough time to check in with the driver. Group cycle pedals remain at their same allotted time regardless of those who arrive late and delay start time. Every rider needs to bring a valid form of identification and complete a Liability Waiver if they wish to Ride!
Launch and end of tours are located at the Capitol Building Parking Lot, N Plaza St. and E Musser St. Carson City, NV.
Pedal Pushers Group Cycle does not permit alcohol on the bike.
We do have insurance for our bike. However, the risk of getting hurt on the bike is lower than driving your car daily.
Your tour is officially reserved upon receipt of payment. Tours do run rain or shine, unless there are extreme weather conditions that are out of our control. If the bike is cancelled due to extreme weather or unexpected events a full refund or the amount transferred to another tour will be offered.
If you need to cancel, please cancel 48 hours prior to your tour. If cancelled after the 48 hour period, no refunds are offered.
Be sure to avoid returning late to the bike, where your driver will be waiting, at each stop. This is because any time a group is late, all tours booked for the rest of that day will run late. This can lead to lost tours and unhappy customers for us. And as you can see, we don’t have many unhappy customers – we’d like to keep it that way.
- If you are 10 minutes late, a fee of $55 will be charged per person
- If you are 20 minutes late, a fee of $85 will be charged per person.
You’ll also want to make sure that your group doesn’t damage anything on the bike while they’re riding (i.e. carving in the wood, kicking or denting the metal, etc.). For any damage to the bike by your group, we will charge you the cost of the repair to fix it.
If the tour is abandoned, a charge of $250 will be applied.
No, however riders can bring any permissible food and non-alcoholic beverages they wish.
The Pedal Pushers group cycle carries up to 15 people plus the driver. There are 5 pedaling seats on each side, and up to 3 people can enjoy sitting on the rear bench seat without pedaling.
Pedal Pushers operates rain or shine. However if severe weather does occur, Pedal Pushers reserves the right to cancel the tour and will offer you a refund or credit you for another tour.

# 1: The driver. The driver has the final word when it comes to safety and what constitutes proper conduct. If you act in any way s/he deems inappropriate or unsafe s/he will ask you to get off and find a way home.
With anything of this nature, you should have a reasonable expectation that there is always the possibility of a fall or injury. The waiver essentially means that you take full responsibility for all risks associated with riding on the Pedal Pushers Group Cycle.
Yes, we do offer bike helmets, but it’s completely up to you if you want to wear one.
